Pupils who do not live on a bus route may be entitled to travel by taxi or minibus for all or part of their journey.

All enquiries relating to school transport should be directed to the school office.

Bus service and timetable information can be found on the school website or by visiting Travel Fife

Fare Options

Pupils who pay to travel to school have various options available to them:

Single and return fares are available direct from the driver.  Pupils under 16 will be charged half the adult fare.   Pupils between 16 and 18 and in full time education qualify for 1/3 off the adult single fare if they present their MyFife card to the driver.

Fife Council offers the following discount for travel to school.   Children under 14, attending their catchment area school and living between one and two miles from school, are entitled to a discount letter from the Council that they can use to purchase a 4 weekly or term time ticket at 30% of the adult fare.  Use the above maps to check entitlement for this scheme.  If entitled please contact schooltravel.enquiries@fife.gov.uk

Fife Council also has agreements in place with the bus companies for pupils to purchase season tickets at discounted rates.  A season ticket can be purchased 4 weekly, term time or longer if required.   Additionally, bus companies offer a variety of weekly and monthly tickets which can be used for travel to school as well as evenings and weekends.

The cost of all fares and tickets can be obtained by contacting the bus companies direct.  Bus companies’ contact details can be found in the Related Publications section.
